Stylish Synergy

Hello out there,

In Seattle, there is probably one sight everyone knows and recognizes instantly. The Space Needle. Even though it is not the highest building in town, it definitely stands out and is easy to recognize, due to its unique shape. Of course, it was my primary destination after I arrived on the bus from Vancouver for a short weekend trip.

But since my accommodation was located on the other side of the city, I first went to Pike Place Market, probably the second most famous sight in town. It is a perfect place to get something to eat and experience the lifestyle of Seattle, which also seemed to me, to be very different than the rest of America. From there I continued my way along the docks and shore to Kerry Park. The view you have from here of the Space Needle and the skyline is just incredible. You probably already know it from postcards, picture books or TV, since it is also very well known. I actually came back several times over the weekend to capture the view also during night and sunset.

From there I finally went to the former world fare area, where the Space Needle is located. As I approached it, I had to walk around the Museum of Pop Culture, which has also a very unique design. Just as I was walking around the last corner over the parking lot of the museum, I suddenly had the perfect view of the Space Needle right in front of me. The colorful poles of the parking lot zoning and the unique shape of the museum just worked wonderfully with the Space Needle. So I just had to get my camera out and press the shutter.
