Discovering Australia
Hello out there,
Today I have some news for you. Right now I'm on my way to Australia, where I will spend the next couple of month discovering the other side of the world. During my stay, I will continue publishing one of my photographs and the story behind taking it each week. But instead of picking weekly photos from different parts of the world, I will only share with you selected ones I take during my stay.
Furthermore, did I use this opportunity to go through my collection of images and updated my portfolio with some newer photographs I have been taking on more recent trips. You can find my portfolio on the landing page of my website or just use this link www.mariuswolf.com.
Today's photograph, by the way, was taken during a stopover in Qatar. When I'm traveling east, I usually take the countries airline and change planes in the airport of the capital city Doha. The day I captured it, I was on my way back home and had just landed, as the sun started to rise. As I was then walking to another gate to catch my next flight, I saw this man sitting all by himself in one of the waiting areas. Since furthermore the rising sun wonderfully projected the structure of the glass front onto the opposite wall, did I decided to take a photo of the scene. As I pulled out my camera, I silently positioned myself behind the waiting man, to not disturb him. Then I just pressed the shutter.
