Busy Morning
Hello out there,
For my extended stay in Vancouver, I tried to get an accommodation as close to the center of the western Canadian city as possible. Growing up in the countryside, it has always been a dream of mine, to live in the heart of such a vibrant city. Therefore did I choose not to stay in a hotel during my visit and instead to look for a privately rented apartment. Immediately I came across a newly listed one, which was right where I wanted and the advertisement furthermore sounded quite interesting since the apartment was located on the fifties floor of a skyscraper. Unfortunately, were the photos of the place not very descriptive and I, therefore, was not one hundred percent sure, what to expect.
Appropriately, I was quite anxious to see the apartment, when I arrived late in the evening at the airport. Since it took some time, to get through the immigration and into the city, it was completely dark, as I got to the address of my accommodation. But I could not have timed the arrival any better.
After standing for more than just a couple of seconds in the elevator, to get all the way up, I was even more exited as I finally entered the apartment. Inside, all the lights were turned off, but through a full size window on the opposite side, I could see the city with all its lights right in front of me. An incredible view.
Although I was really excited about it, I was also so tired from the flight, that I exceptionally did not pull out my camera to capture it and went to bed instead.
When I woke up the next morning, the lights of the streets and buildings were still on, as the sun started to rise. So did I finally pull out my camera and placed it right in front of the huge window on my tripod, to deal with the dark scenery. Then I just pressed the shutter.
