Burning Leaves

Hello out there,

What I really enjoyed on my trip to Milan, and what probably most visitors are not doing, was walking through its Parco Nord. Even though it is not very spectacular, it's sheer size right within the city makes it quite unique and lets you discover the Italian culture in a different way. When I went there one morning, many locals were walking their dogs or doing their morning exercise, while some older citizens were sitting together on the benches and having an emotional discussion. Quite surprising, since it was still very early in the day.

But the late autumn sun made this morning a great pleasure to experience outside. So I just walked aimlessly along the mayor paths and had my eyes open for something interesting to discover.

At one point I came by a bridge with very colorful leaves hanging from its framework, which instantly drew my attention. Obviously, the season did a great job in coloring the leaves all the way into a deep cardinal red, which wonderfully harmonized with the blue sky and the green paint of the framework. So I got out my camera and started spotting for the right view to capture the bridge. Soon I decided on a symmetrical composition, to incorporate the tunnel view, the bridge offered. After adjusting the settings of the camera, I just had to press the shutter.
