Accurate Gardening
Hello out there,
The Grand Palace complex in Bangkok is truly an incredible place to see if you are visiting the capital city of Thailand. The magnificence of the temples, the palace itself and the surrounding parks can just not be excelled by any other sight in town. Therefore did we expect a big rush of tourists to visit it during the day and decided to go instead early in the morning.
Unfortunately, did the plan not work out that well, since a long queue was already waiting for us, even before the gates opened. So we enqueued at its end. While waiting to get up front, I recognized, that by far the most other visitors around me seemed to be local and not western or Chinese tourists. This fact quite surprised me but is also comprehensive, when taking the high popularity of the Thai monarchy into consideration.
As we finally made it insight, the masses of people actually spread pretty well and you could take your time to discover the sight. Especially impressed was I by the colorful roofs of the buildings, which perfectly harmonized with the blue sky and the green of the plantings. I already took quite a lot of photos, as we came up to the Grand Palace towards the end of the tour. Instantly I was blown away by the accurately trimmed trees and lifted up my camera. But since there was a huge crowd of people right in front of the palace, I decided to get in close on the trees and to leave just the roof of the palace in the frame. This way, I managed to crop out the people and to focus only on the highlights. With everything being perfectly set up, I just had to press the shutter.
